Troy Adams is racing toward greatness, following in the footsteps of his family, who opened the Adams Kart Track (now Adams Motorsports Park) in 1960—the first African American-owned racing facility in California. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Marketing, he became a NASCAR driver from 1995 to 2002, serving as one of the few African American drivers in the circuit. Troy actively encouraged youth to pursue careers in racing and, in 2006, acquired full ownership of Adams Motorsports Park, which has since become a leading grassroots racing facility. Troy Adams owns and operates the fastest-growing karting leagues in California.
